Do I need prior experience to become a caregiver at Everwell?
While prior caregiving experience or CNA/DCW credentials are a plus, we also welcome compassionate individuals looking to start a new career in care. Everwell provides comprehensive, paid state-approved training and CPR/First Aid certification.
What are the vehicle requirements for wheelchair NEMT drivers?
Wheelchair NEMT drivers must meet state and company requirements, including a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, required background checks, and training in wheelchair securement, passenger safety, and accessibility. They must also be able to safely assist passengers with mobility needs.
How flexible are the shifts and scheduling?
We offer flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts. Schedules are designed to fit your availability while meeting the needs of the individuals and families we serve.
